Imbalan

Compensation is the Human Resources Management function that deals with every type of reward individuals receive in exchange for performing organization tasks. Kompensasi adalah fungsi manajemen sumber daya manusia yang berkaitan dengan semua bentuk  penghargaan yang dijanjikan akan diterima karyawan sebagai imbalan dari pelaksanaan tugas dalam upaya pencapaian tujuan perusahaan ( Ivancevich,1998).

Tujuan Sistem Imbalan

Hal ini penting dilakukan karena tujuan memberi imbalan pada dasarnya adalah:

1. Memotivasi anggota organisasi. Sistem imbalan yang dirancang oleh suatu organisasi harus mampu memacu motivasi kerja dari anggota organisasi agar berprestasi pada tingkat yang tinggi; untuk itu imbalan yang dibentuk harus  memiliki nilai di mata anggota organisasi.

Pengambilan Keputusan Dalam Organisasi

Sebelum kita memembahas apa itu pengambilan keputusan dalam organisasi alangkah baiknya kita mengetahui terlebih dahulu pengertian dari organisasi dan keputusan itu sendiri. Organisasi dapat diartikan sebagai sebuah sistem yang terdiri dari seorganisasi individu yang melalui suatu hierarki sistematis dalam pembagian kerja dalam rangka mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan secara struktural dan sistematis. Keputusan adalah suatu reaksi terhadap beberapa solusi alternatif yang dilakukan secara sadar dengan cara menganalisa kemungkinan - kemungkinan dari alternatif tersebut bersama konsekuensinya.
